Studio Portraits
Identity (Outside School)
The most successful image is the first one in the top left corner. Yes, all of the elements do support the frame of the subject. There are no distractions in the image. I used the rule of thirds, framing, focus/figure and ground, and focal point. depth of field is shown in the image as the bracelet is in clear focus and the background (trees, railing, etc) are not in focus. Yes, blur and focus are manipulated as explained in the last sentence, as the bracelet is in focus and the background is very blurry. In photoshop, I used levels and other edits like that such as curves, vibrance, contrast, etc. The image is showing my backyard which shows where I live, but the bracelet shows about something about who I am, the graduating class of 2019. Graduating is a very high and important accomplishment in life as it's the start of your journey, furthering your education, and starting something new about yourself, and adding your own contributions in the world once you get your first full-time job.
